We all have a role in creating a welcoming and inclusive region.
Regional Partnership Council (RPC)
The Regional Partnership Council is a group of multi-sector stakeholders who oversee DAWCC’s strategic plan and put that plan into action. They are guided by the experiences and ideas of newcomers and DAWCC’s Immigrant Advisory Table. Partnership Council members commit to a minimum of four meetings per year. The time commitment may be small, but the impact is large.
Immigrant Advisory Table (IAT)
Members of the Advisory Table are area residents with lived experience as immigrants to Canada. Their insights, perspectives and ideas help define DAWCC’s priority areas and the work of the Partnership Council. IAT membership is an opportunity to share knowledge and ideas and participate in a project to improve the settlement experience of new residents.
If you are interested in becoming a Partnership Council or Advisory Table member, we want to hear from you!
