Welcome Week in Dauphin and Area

Every September, Dauphin and Area join the global movement of Welcoming Week — a week that brings together people of different cultures, stories, and traditions. In 2025, Welcoming Week takes place in seven countries with more than 1,600 events worldwide. Our region is proud to be part of this international celebration of friendship and belonging.

Here in Dauphin and Area, we show that openness and hospitality make our community stronger. Throughout the week, long-time residents, newcomers, organizations, and partners come together to celebrate diversity and highlight that everyone has a place in our community.

Welcoming Week events are a chance to connect, build new relationships, share cultures and traditions, and feel part of something bigger. Because when we open our hearts to one another,  we create a community where everyone can truly feel at home.
