“Shaping the Community” Immigrant’s Session

On February 26, the Dauphin and Area Welcoming Communities Coalition will host a community engagement session focused on immigrants and their lived experiences in Dauphin.

This session will provide a safe and welcoming space for newcomers to share their perspectives, challenges, and ideas. Participants will discuss five key topics related to settlement, belonging, and community life.

The goal of this session is to better understand newcomer experiences and compare those perspectives with insights gathered from community leaders. This will help identify gaps, shared priorities, and opportunities to strengthen services and community connections.

This session is part of an ongoing community research initiative aimed at supporting integration and ensuring Dauphin remains a welcoming and inclusive community for everyone.
